Quanta reshuffle after loss of orders

Quanta Computer, the world’s largest manufacturer of notebook computers, is reshuffling its management in an attempt to repair a loss of market share.

Michael Wang, the co-founder who had been seen as heir apparent after his promotion to president last year, has left the company after Barry Lam, chairman, reassigned responsibility for manufacturing to C.C. Leung, another co-founder and vice-chairman, people close to the company said.
