The commonest unit for assessing business performance is money, as measured by the balance sheet. But performance can be difficult to measure on a personal level, unless you look at another important unit: time.
Many of us regard not having enough hours in the day as the limiting factor for our success. We should also acknowledge that this is usually down to poor discipline – the most efficient day in our calendar is always just before we go on holiday, when vital tasks are swiftly completed.
