The developer of a controversial residential development on the site of the former Chelsea Barracks in west London has opened the door to compromise on the scheme following criticism from the Prince of Wales.
The head of Qatari Diar, the sovereign wealth-backed property company developing the site, said he was confident a solution would be found that would be acceptable to all parties, including Prince Charles, who caused a furore after writing to Qatar about his dislike of the modernist design.
