China key as Pyongyang returns to talks

North Korea’s agreement to return to the six-party talks is more likely to be a tactical move than a strategic decision to give up its new-found nuclear status, analysts said on Tuesday.

The surprise diplomatic breakthrough, just three weeks after Pyongyang conducted a nuclear test, suggests the US is showing more flexibility just as China has become more tough on its errant neighbour.
