Snoods help Burberry to bolster sales

Burberry, which recently made a triumphant return to London Fashion Week, reported better than expected second-quarter sales as consumers snapped up handbags, shoes, scarves and snoods.

But the British luxury goods group, best known for its red, black, white and tan check, said it remained cautious about the consumer outlook, given the “uncertain environment”.
