Brent Hoberman and Martha Lane Fox, founders of travel website lastminute.com, have teamed up on a new internet venture for consumers looking to furnish their homes.

Mr Hoberman, founder and executive chairman, has raised more than £5m for Mydeco, a comparison website for furniture and interior brands.
