View from the Top: Joseph Brown, chief executive and chairman of MBIA

Joseph Brown, who turns 59 this week, took over as chief executive and chairman of the world's largest bond insurer following the resignation of former CEO Gary Dunton.

Mr Brown is no stranger to MBIA. He joined the firm as a director in 1986, the year of its incorporation, and only retired from the board last year.
