Former UBS chief forgoes bonus

Peter Wuffli, the former chief executive of UBS, revealed he had forgone SFr12m ($10m) in bonus entitlements out of solidarity with the stricken Swiss bank.

The move, the first of its kind at a big casualty of the credit crisis, will raise pressure on other former top UBS executives to follow suit.
