Farmers' groups in Bolivia are squaring up for a fight with the government of Evo Morales over La Paz's plans for agrarian reform.

A month after Mr Morales issued a decree to nationalise the country's gas industry, the president was in Santa Cruz at the weekend to attend a ceremony at which the government gave landless communities 60 titles to more than 3m hectares of unused government land.
