Craig Barrett has two businesses. One has 45 employees and the other, thousands. One has healthcare costs of a few hundred dollars a year, the other spends hundreds of millions of dollars.

The first group all have electronic patient records, receive house calls and generally enjoy a good service. The second, in Mr Barrett’s opinion, are less well served.
