Ministers will seek to boost battered euro

Eurozone finance ministers will today seek to restore battered confidence in the euro amid jitters over its future after last week's double No vote on the European constitution.

In their first meeting since the resounding French and Dutch rejections, ministers from the 12-country group will decide how best to respond to the sharp slide in the currency's exchange rate following the votes.
