Gove to outline ‘nudge’ approach to health

A Conservative government would invest in more health visitors and maternity nurses in a sign of the Tories putting into practice their newfound enthusiasm for “nudging” people to make better personal choices.

Michael Gove, a leading Tory moderniser, will on Monday map out areas where the fashionable concept of “liberal paternalism” could be applied to support families.
