Recruitment: Small banks short of ammunition in talent wars

When Asia’s private bankers receive their annual bonuses in the next four months, they will have big smiles on their faces.

Top client relationship managers, or personal advisers, will be able to pocket more than $250,000 – including bonus and base salary – this year, reflecting an increasingly fierce war for local talent, according to the Boston Consulting Group.
