Drax downgraded to ‘junk’ status by S&P

Drax , owner of western Europe’s largest coal-fired power station, lost its investment grade rating on Friday, joining a growing number of UK companies assigned “junk” status.

Standard & Poor’s cut Drax from BBB-, the lowest investment grade, to BB+.
