EMI Music to outline plans for restructure

Elio Leoni-Sceti, chief executive of EMI’s troubled recorded music division, will on Friday reveal plans to re-structure the business as he unveils an increase in first-half earnings.

In a staff presentation on Friday, the 42-year-old Italian will say that EMI Music “is still in the very early stages of its renaissance and the road ahead will not be smooth or easy”.
