IMF needs some Facebook friends

Robert Zoellick, president of the World Bank, said recently the world needs a “Facebook” of global economic government: a fluid, interconnected network of international institutions with a flexible steering group of leading countries.

But European policymakers, led by Gordon Brown, the British prime minister newly revitalised by his dramatic rescue of the UK banking system, seem intent on rewriting the Bible.
