London is the most expensive place in the world to park a car, according to a report analysing costs across every large city.

The first global parking rate report, released on Tuesday by ­Colliers International, a property consultancy, shows that car-owning Londoners are worse off than in other regions. The cost of parking in the City of London, in particular, is outpacing that of other financial centres.
