There is no doubt the AQA Baccalaureate is a conceptually clever response to criticisms that A-levels are too narrow.

The Assessment and Qualifications Alliance, a not-for-profit examination board that is England’s biggest, has designed a complementary qualification that retains A-levels at its core.
