WH Ireland sees opportunities in small-caps

The Aim market is at best dormant and many City stockbrokers are trying to claw their way up the corporate scale to attract mid-cap and large clients.

Collins Stewart said last week it was focusing on companies with a market capitalisation between £100m and £500m, and Blue Oar has similarly started aiming at the FTSE 250.
