Miniature projector company secures $26m

A Cambridge company which develops miniature laser projectors that could one day be embedded in mobile phones has secured $26m (£12.7m) venture capital funding, one of the largest early stage investments in the European electronics sector in the past five years.

Light Blue Optics develops tiny holographic laser systems that can be used to project pictures or films from a device such as a mobile handset onto any wall or tabletop.
