Georgian officials lobby in Denver

Even as Georgia struggles to cope with the aftermath of its military conflict with Russia, senior Georgian officials are engaged in high-level lobbying at the Democratic convention in Denver.

David Bakradze, chairman of the Georgian parliament and the second most senior official after President Mikheil Saakashvili, said he had been delighted by the reception he had received.
