Luminar, the nightclub operator that has temporarily stopped paying dividends in order to reduce its borrowings, is raising £36m through a discounted equity issue.
The group, which operates 88 late-night venues, said the cash would fund the opening of new nightclubs as well as the redevelopment of old sites. Luminar also disclosed that it had limited access to the undrawn portion of its existing borrowing facilities.
