It’s the end of the world as we know it

As you start your working day, you may notice that some things have changed. The Large Hadron Collider under the Swiss-French border was switched on at 8.30 this morning, with the consequence that some of your far-sighted people had predicted. It recreated the Big Bang, and as a result you have now fallen through a black hole into our parallel universe.
