Wyndham cuts back to weather storm

Wyndham Worldwide, the world’s second biggest hotel group by rooms, sought to reassure investors that it could weather the storm buffeting the lodging industry, announcing job cuts and a series of charges.

Restructuring charges over the second half of the year and the first quarter of 2009 will be in the range of $22m to $32m, the hotel, timeshare and holiday rental group said.
