Regulator probes PwC over Cattles audit

PwC, the Big Four accountancy firm, is being investigated over its auditing of Cattles, the struggling sub-prime lender that failed to keep track of its bad debts.

The Accountancy and Actuarial Discipline Board (AADB), which regulates the profession, announced the inquiry on Thursday.
