The best ideas in business often come from personal experience, and Christina Domecq believes her frustration with voicemail has created a product that will be the next big thing in mobile telephony.

Her inspiration came in 2003 when struggling to pick up messages between meetings. How much more convenient, she thought, if voicemail could be converted to more accessible text messages. She immediately set about creating a business to provide the service.
