Italy: About-turn for tradition

Italy may be the spiritual home of the luxury world, and many of its most famous brands are doing well, but this is no time to be lounging around in Tod’s loafers.

Many of the country’s most renowned groups are buzzing with activity as they grapple with changing consumer behaviour, the emergence of Asian markets and the need to reform their traditionally small, family-run models.
