Emerging market IPO pipeline blocked up

The once overflowing pipeline of initial public offerings from the emerging world has come close to drying up as the credit crisis hits the developing nations.

The slump in IPO issuance has been most dramatic among companies in the four biggest emerging economies, Brazil, Russia, India and China – known as the Brics.
