Italy makes itself more attractive for FDI

Italy continues to slide down global rankings in terms of ease of doing business, but Invitalia, the national investment agency, says it is bringing home the first results of its efforts to simplify business procedures after an extensive two-year restructuring and a name change.

Domenico Arcuri, Invitalia chief executive, prefers not to talk about the past yet knows by heart the incriminating statistics.
