No buyers for Woolworths’ EUK arm

EUK, Woolworths’ wholesale arm, is to be wound down by the group’s administrators after they failed to find a buyer in a decision that will cause fresh pain for Zavvi.

Deloitte, administrator to Woolworths, said on Friday that it was to “scale down efforts to sell the business as a going concern” and was making two-thirds of the employees redundant.
