Toymakers are looking to technology to give sales a lift

The showrooms of the International Toy Center in Manhattan, dark for most of the year, are once again bright and stacked with the latest toys.

They are ready for the thousands of speciality retail buyers who will descend on New York to discover and play with the newest creations on display at the annual American International Toy Fair, which opens tomorrow.
