Spain relaxed as it embraces the benefits

Few Spaniards claim to be familiar with private equity, but those who do seem relaxed about its impact on jobs and the economy.

A third of Spanish respondents to an FT-Harris opinion poll said private equity was good for the economy. Only 8 per cent thought it bad, compared with 24 per cent in Germany.
