Rentokil stands by revival plan

Rentokil Initial insisted its turnround strategy was on track after cost-cutting helped third-quarter operating profits rise by more than a third.

However, the shares fell on Friday as investors sought further details of the washrooms-to-pest control group’s plans to lift revenue. Now 18 months into his five-year recovery plan, Alan Brown, chief executive, said there was “so much more to come”.
