Lebanon may hold off on an attack against militants of the Fatah al-Islam group that have been fighting the army inside the Palestinian refugee camp Nahr al-Bared for more than a week.

The leader of Lebanon’s ruling coalition, Saad Hariri, told the Financial Times in an interview that the safety of the civilians who are left inside the camp is now the main concern for the army.
