Employers to reduce use of temps

Almost two-thirds of employers expect to reduce their reliance on agency workers if the EU goes ahead with plans to give temporary staff the same pay as permanent workers, according to research published today.

A survey by Eversheds law firm reports today that three-quarters of employers "believe that agency workers should not be able to receive the same rights as full-time staff after 12 weeks service".
