Yudhoyono vows to fight terrorism

Indonesia’s President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono vowed to fight terrorism and poverty in a national address on Friday, and stressed that his government would focus on generating growth in the domestic market, rather than exports.

Speaking just days after the constitutional court upheld his overwhelming election victory, he said Indonesia “must not, and will not, be defeated by terrorism.”
