GMG eyes Emap’s entire B2B operation

Guardian Media Group has expanded its ambitions towards the business-to-business arm of Emap and teamed up with Apax to bid for the entire unit.

Last August, Carolyn McCall, chief executive of GMG, publisher of The Guardian, the Observer and a range of other media businesses, said the group might be interested in bidding for some elements of Emap’s business-to-business division.
