Almost a decade after Saddam Hussein’s downfall, more than 1.5m Iraqis are still scattered across the globe as refugees.

This graphic uses United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) data to explore both where they have gone, and increasingly, where they are returning to.
