Grübel still has difficult work to do at UBS

Two large ticks now adorn the “to do” list of Oswald Grübel, as the new chief executive of UBS ploughs on with the job of restoring one of the world’s leading banks.

Mr Grübel, appointed in February, has rid himself of political interference in the bank and largely settled a dangerous and debilitating battle with US tax authorities – almost simultaneously.
