BA braced for cartel ruling

British Airways was braced in Tuesday night to make its first pay-outs over a series of international probes into alleged cartel activity that could cost it hundreds of millions of pounds.

The results of investigations by the US Department of Justice and Britain’s Office of Fair Trading could be announced as early as Wednesday, people familiar with the probes said.
