Labour body laments lack of economic security

The vast majority of the world's people live in countries that provide little basic economic security, which provides the breeding ground for "a world full of anxiety and anger", the International Labour Organisation said yesterday.

Providing people with basic economic security fosters individual well-being and is beneficial for growth and social stability, according to a new study by the organisation.
