Wycombe Abbey, a girls’ boarding school in High Wycombe, has beaten familiar famous names such as Eton, Westminster and Winchester to head this year’s FT ranking of the Top 500 Independent Schools.

The school, its headmistress Pauline Davies and girls from varying years are featured on the front cover of this supplement, which highlights achievement in the private schools of England and Wales.
