Equity rally doubts leave stocks stalled

Equity markets in the US and Europe seem to be stuck.

Since rebounding 37 per cent from their March lows – partly boosted by signs of emerging economic “green shoots” – US equities have for the past few weeks been trading within a narrow range of 920-950 points on the S&P 500.
