Atos claims turnround is bearing fruit

Atos Origin, France’s second-biggest computer services group, said it would improve operating profit margins this year as part of a new action plan to turn the company around, while warning of a slowdown in sales.

Thierry Breton, the former French finance minister brought in by dissident shareholders in November to accelerate its turnround, said on Wednesday that his Top Operational Performance plan, unveiled towards the end of last year, was already bearing fruit.
