Indonesia police hold terror suspects

Indonesian security forces have killed one man in an overnight siege of an alleged terrorist hideout in central Java, and killed two suspects in an operation in Bekasi on the outskirts of Jakarta, but did not confirm if suspected terrorist Noordin Mohammed Top was among the dead.

National police chief General Bambang Danuri declined to comment on speculation that the man killed in the central Java raid was Mr Noordin, a suspected bomb mastermind, and said DNA tests would confirm the man’s identity.
