No more red tape, pleads business

Business is clear about what it would like from Wednesday’s Queen’s Speech, which sets out the legislative programme for the next parliamentary session – as little regulation as possible.

“The main message to government is what we don’t want in it: don’t impose another load of major regulation,” said Miles Templeman, director-general of the Institute of Directors.
