The likelihood the entire travel insurance industry will be regulated by the Financial Services Authority has increased with the publication of a Treasury committee report released yesterday.

The committee has recommended the FSA extends its scope of regulation to cover bundled insurance sold with holidays by tour operators and travel agents.
