Russia has successfully tested a new generation of land- and sea-based ballistic missiles in the latest signal of the revival of its military capability.

The Russian military on Tuesday carried out a ­second successful test of the RS-24 intercontinental ballistic missile, capable of carrying multiple warheads – first tested last May.
