UK hedge fund boss quits over strategy

Coronation, the independent South-African hedge fund manager, lost its UK chief executive last week in bizarre circumstances.

The firm announced on Monday that Andre du Plessis, who has been head of UK, Japan, Benelux and Scandinavia operations for the $10bn investment firm for four years, would be taking up a new role as chairman of its Irish operations.
