McCain trades Iraqbarbs with Obama

Barack Obama and John McCain yesterday staged a skirmish over US strategy in Iraq, underscoring how the two presidential front-runners now view each other as likely rivals in November's general election.

At a campaign event in Texas, Mr McCain accused his potential rival of accepting defeat to terrorism. More than 1,000 miles away in Ohio, Mr Obama claimed the Republican frontrunner was intent on prolonging a -misguided war.
